Discovered in 2008, the Orectolobus floridus (floridus means “abounding in flowers”) is a yellowish black wobbegong (genus of carpet sharks) that shows a nice floral pattern in brown on its back. It lives in shallow waters off southwestern Australia and is up to 2.5 ft -75 cm- long.

Happy holidays!
